Tenor

He graduated from the A.V. Sveshnikov Moscow Choral College (2005) and the V.S. Popov Academy of Choral Art (2010) with a degree in Choral Conducting (class of Associate Professor A.I. Gavdush). Also, since 2004, he has been engaged in solo singing at the Academy in the class of Professor S.G. Nesterenko.

In 2007-2008, he took master classes at the International School of Vocal Excellence, where his teachers were Gloria Guida Borrelli, Giandomenico Bizi (Italy) and George Darden (USA).

Yaroslav Abaimov is a guest soloist at the Reisopera Opera House in the Netherlands. In January 2015, the singer made his debut in the role of Nadir in the opera “Pearl Seekers” by J. Bizet, in February 2016 — in the role of Ferrando in the opera “This is what all women Do” by W.A. Mozart.

In September 2015, the singer made his debut on the Historical Stage of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia in the role of the Fool (opera Boris Godunov by M.P. Mussorgsky).

In October 2015, he participated in the performance of the opera “Mozart and Salieri” by N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov at the International Music Festival in Macau (China) and in L. Janacek’s “Glagolitic Mass” and W.A. Mozart’s Requiem at the Guanajuato Opera House and at Sala Nezahualcóyotl (Mexico).

The singer regularly performs at the main concert venues in Moscow: the Svetlanovsky Hall of the House of Music, the Great Hall of the Conservatory, the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall. He has worked with such conductors as L. Campellone, J. Latham-Koenig, A. Sladkovsky, E. Svetlanov, M. Pletnev, I. Marin, D. Conlon.

Since 2010, Yaroslav Abaimov has been a soloist at the Novaya Opera Theater.

In 2018, he took part in the tour of the theater at the Grange Park Opera
(West Horsley, Great Britain), performing the role of Heckern in the premiere production of K. Boyarsky’s opera Pushkin.
