Vasily Ladyuk

Baritone

He graduated with honors from the Sveshnikov Moscow Choral College (1997) and the Academy of Choral Art (Vocal and Conducting and Choral faculties, 2001). In 2004, he graduated from the graduate school of the Academy in the class of Professor D. The widow. Later, he improved his vocal technique and mastered the basics of opera art in master classes of renowned specialists from La Scala, the Metropolitan Opera, and the Houston Grand Opera (2002-2005).

In 2003-2020, he was a soloist at the Novaya Opera Theater, and since 2007, he has been a guest soloist at the Bolshoi Theater of Russia. Since 2020, he has been a soloist at the Tchaikovsky Perm Opera and Ballet Theater.

Vasily Ladyuk performs on such stages as the Bolshoi Theater, the Mariinsky Theater, the Liceo Theater in Barcelona, the Belgian Royal Opera La Mona, the Opera Garnier in Paris, La Scala in Milan, the La Fenice Theater in Venice and the Reggio Theater in Turin, the Metropolitan Opera and the Houston Grand Opera (USA).

Vasily Ladyuk has collaborated with outstanding conductors and directors, including Valery Gergiev, Placido Domingo, Vladimir Spivakov, Vladimir Fedoseev, Mikhail Pletnev, Dmitry Yurovsky, James Conlon, Gianandrea Noseda, Andrei Konchalovsky, Dmitry Chernyakov, Francesca Zambello.

Founder and artistic director of the annual Opera Live Music Festival. Concerts and performances of the festival take place at leading venues in Moscow: on the stage of the Novaya Opera Theater, the International House of Music, the Great Hall of the Conservatory, the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall and others.
