Artyom Garnov

Baritone

He graduated from the vocal faculty of the V.S. Popov Academy of Choral Art (2011, class of D.Y. Vdovin). In 2007-2008, he participated in the Moscow International Vocal School, where he studied with George Darden (Metropolitan Opera, New York), as well as with Diana Zola, Richard Bado (Houston Grand Opera), Gloria Borelli and Giandomenico Bizi (Naples Conservatory). In the gala concert of the school, together with Albina Shagimuratova, he performed the duo Figlia! …Mio padre! from the opera Rigoletto by G. Verdi.

At the opera studio of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, he participated in the production of the opera “Journey to Reims” by J. Rossini as Don Alvaro.

Since 2009 he has been a soloist at the Novaya Opera Theatre.

In 2010, he took part in a tour of France by Simphonic Mania. At the festival “Epiphany Week at the New Opera”-2011 participated in a concert performance of the opera “Cinderella” by J. Rossini, performing the role of Alidoro. In 2018, he participated in the concert “Mozart. Arias” within the framework of Veronika Dzhioeva’s “Opera Space” festival.
